Edward Fayda, P.E., C.E.M, LEED AP
Edward Fayda, P.E. founded Fayda Engineering & Energy Solutions, LLC in 2009 and has almost 40 years of experience as a Consulting Engineer. Prior to entering the engineering profession, he owned and operated a successful electrical contracting business. Beginning with his deployment as an electrician in the US Navy in 1975, his electrical career spans over 50 years. He is an Electrical Engineer by Degree and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states including Alaska, Delaware, Maryland, Montana and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers.
As president, he is responsible for the administration and operations of the company; is active in business development and is responsible for the direction of projects with varying scope and technical difficulty.
As Director of Electrical Engineering, he is actively engaged in all aspects of electrical and energy engineering. His experience in electrical systems is diverse and extensive.
Systems include High voltage, medium voltage and low voltage electrical distribution; indoor, outdoor and sports lighting systems; CATV, CCTV, intrusion detection and access control security systems; telecommunication and network cabling systems; fire alarm and detection systems and emergency generating systems.
As Program Manager he is responsible for assembling project teams, staffing of personnel, developing project budgets and administrating projects from inception through completion. Oversight and management of construction administration duties throughout all phases of construction provides total project control.
Mr. Fayda has worked on a wide range of facilities in his tenure; including detention/correctional facilities, police facilities, educational (K-12 & Higher Ed), industrial, institutional and health care, commercial and retail facilities as well as process and sports facilities.
Awards from the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers and Illuminating Engineering Society demonstrate his ongoing commitment to the advance of Engineering and sustainability in the real world.

Matt Galinskie
Vice President of Project Operations
Matt is Vice President of Project Operations at Fayda Engineering & Energy Solutions and has more than 20 years of experience in building systems engineering consulting. He began his career in technical drafting and grew into electrical design and project management before taking on his current leadership role.
Over the course of his career, Matt has worked on multimillion-dollar projects for government, commercial, and institutional clients. His technical background includes power distribution, lighting and controls, life safety and communications systems, field surveying, design development, and construction administration. His hands on experience across each stage of a project gives him a practical understanding of both the design work and what it takes to carry a project through construction.
Today, Matt oversees project planning, schedules, budgets, staffing, and day-to-day project delivery. He works closely with clients, engineers, consultants, and contractors to keep projects moving, solve problems, and make sure the work meets the needs of the client.
Matt holds an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and is a Certified Energy Auditor.

Heather Fayda
Vice President of Business Operations
Heather Fayda serves as Vice President of Business Operations at Fayda Engineering & Energy Solutions, where she leads the business functions that support the firm’s operations,
growth, and long-term strategy. As a member of the executive leadership team, she oversees financial administration, human resources, marketing and business development, and internal operations.
Heather brings extensive corporate leadership experience spanning business and sales operations, customer and vendor experience, process improvement, and organizational development. Prior to joining Fayda Engineering & Energy Solutions, she held progressively responsible leadership positions within larger corporate organizations, where she managed complex operations, improved business processes, and helped teams and organizations scale effectively.
Working closely with the firm’s engineering and project leadership, Heather focuses on strengthening the people, processes, and business infrastructure behind the firm’s technical services. Her leadership supports operational efficiency, informed decision-making, strong client relationships, and the continued growth of Fayda Engineering & Energy Solutions.
